I watched Apple Cider Vinegar and enjoyed it. I watched Oliver & Company to continue wading through old Disney favorites and was today years old when I realized that Rita the Saluki and Barbara from Abbott Elementary are the same person. Mind blown.
Tonight I'm watching Clueless for the first time in, like, twenty years. And you know what? It holds up. It holds up.
I also started reading a book called Jennifer Government by Max Berry. It's not the best thing I've ever read but it's interesting enough, so far.
Today was my girlfriend's birthday, so I rushed home from work and hopped onto a video call. She opened her gifts from me, I put a lit candle in a cupcake and let her "blow out" the candle (with my obvious help of course) and then I directed her to put her headphones on so I could share my screen and let her watch the 11-minute Cameo that I had Noshir Dalal (her favorite voice actor and the voice/motion capture of her favorite character ever) make for her. She teared up, even, it was wonderful. Great success.
I still haven't done my taxes. I need intervention.
It's supposed to rain cats and dogs all day tomorrow, so I'm really happy I have the day off and I can curl up and enjoy the weather from indoors. Movies and hot tea and my heated blanket, I'm thinking.
