holiday_wishes!
It's really helping me get into the holiday spirit, flitting around fulfilling wishes here and there wherever I can.
Sure, it's amazon and etsy wishlists, requests for gift cards, and the like. But it's also donations for GoFundMe pages, suggestions for charities one can donate to, and humble requests for extra DW paid time or icon slots. Fanfic. Fanart. Graphics.
And it's people asking for things as small as kudos or comments on their work, holiday cards or postcards, and new friends! I would urge you to check it out and, if you're moved to, see if you can grant someone's wish this season no matter how small. I've only been lurking for a few days and already I'm completely blown away by peoples' generosity and empathy. It's wonderful.
I've discovered some truly amazing new fic just through granting wishes for kudos and comments. Like, fic I wish I had found years ago, and now I'm definitely keeping an eye on these creators! I've rounded up a handful of new friends on Pokemon Go as well, haha.
Or. Or! Go post a wishlist of your own! You never know what might happen.
